"Nijinsky"
The Inspiration for part of the backdrop of this piece was taken from  a charcoal drawing by John Singer Sargent (1856-1925) created in 1911.  It depicts ballet star Vaslav Nijinsky in costume for "Le Pavillon d'Armide."

"Nijinsky" was created in July 2008.
The image size measures 7 by 7.5 inches, with an outside paper dimension of 8.5 by 11 inches. It is printed on acid-free, 90 lb weight, medium surface texture watercolor paper
